Made from recycled fabrics and corduroy, this tapestry tote is the perfect bag for every day. With corduroy handles and a cute flap snap, the Hang on Sloopy Expandable Tote also has snap buttons on each side of the bag so you can expand your tote space. Buttoned, this tote bag has a width of 14 inches, but you can unbutton it to a width of 23 inches. In addition to the main zipper closure, there is also a zipper pocket on the back of the bag, and another on the inside. 10 1/2 inches deep.

| Didn't want to order this - too expensive - sounds weird with the whole expanding thing - how much better could it be for $40 than maybe, say $25? Well, after coming back to it online several times because I need a zipper safe bag for travel in 10 days and I'm tired of running around looking in stores, okay, I ordered it. When it arrived (fast, by the way!), I took it out of the box and looked it up and down, checked out all the bells and whistles carefully, if not skeptically and decided, wow, they were right. It's so well made with such high quality materials and has so many well designed features that not only is this bag worth every penny of $40, it is the bag you always wished someone would make. The fabric and quality are substantial and frankly, it looks like a more expensive bag. It's roomy and soft, much more comfortable than leather to carry, especially when traveling, yet holds it's shape. It's easy for everyday use because the gusset across the bottom prevents everything from falling down into the Bermuda Triangle of hobo styled bags. I can't wait to fill it with treasures I find on my trip. I like to buy little things for friends but I think I could be only two expansion snaps away from bringing home a lamp in this bag, if I wanted to. It's pretty, practical, priced right and you'll feel confident carrying it. Leave the $1,350 bag in the stores for frivolous fashionistas. Buy this, instead and if you're that rich, donate the difference. |
