I hesitated buying this item, but in the end thought I'd give it a chance. What would an almost 60 dollar hooded sweatshirt be like? My curiosity was piqued. Maybe I just had to live it up a little, and experience what the better dressed folks do. In the end, I went ahead and ordered it, rather than agonize with indecision. The sweatshirt is indeed lovely, the design magical, and the material is very soft and nicer feeling than your ordinary discount big box chain sweatshirt. I'm not sure what makes it an almost 60 dollar sweatshirt, however. Catalog says it is fair labor, and 50% organic cotton, with low impact dyes. OK. it turns out I am willing to pay extra for products that don't exploit Chinese slave labor and are kind to the fishies. But I took off a star, because it would be a much more attractive buy at $40, and still would be a forty dollar freakin' hoodie. Pretty as it is, and as much as I will enjoy wearing it, I won't be able to afford many like this.
