"After reading the first reviewer's opinion, I ordered a size large (brown wave) for my 36-/38-inch bust. The top section of the shirt fit perfectly, but there really isn't enough flow in the bottom half of the shirt to work for my 12/(mostly size)14 hips. I re-ordered a size x-large (black wave), which works much better for my figure. I'm pleasantly surprised with the vibrancy of this shirt compared to the image available here. The straps are a beautiful shade of purple, and the top seems to have more purple than blue in it - think the top of the ""red wave"" shirt attached to the bottom of the ""black wave"" shown above.
The shape is very flattering, and I like the fact that the buttoned straps allow for re-sizing. I don't need another one, but I'm soooo tempted to order a red and/or yellow wave..."

"I purchased this top in ""brown wave"" and it is beautiful! I love the length (mid-hip).
Just a word on fit: The range of sizes (for example, the 40 to 42 inch bust on the x-large) covered the stretch of the elastic in the back of the top. When fitting for the smaller end (40""), you may want to consider going down a size. It was more than a tad roomy in my case, which can be fixed with a few darts, etc, but it you aren't someone who sews, keep that in mind!"
