When I got mine -- it was indeed tight. I'm a big headed man though, so I got to thinking and I remembered that hemp chokes stretched with time and water in the shower so I soaked mine and tugged it a bit -- then it was out of shape and then I added water again and over some time maybe a few months (6) it got broken in --- right now it is perfect!!!!

I bought this over a year ago ... I'm a chick so maybe that's why it doesn't fit so well? I really love the look of it but I always find it sliding up my head, creating an open space that looks funny. Maybe it's time for me to wear it again ... maybe sew an elastic band on the bottom edge. Love you Soul-Flower!

I got this for my husband. It doesn't fit him quite right. It's a bit too short and too tight. It ends up looking like a hippie hair net on him. His head is about 22 inches around so it might work out for someone with a smaller head. But other than the fit it's pretty neat.

I love my skull cap. Snug fit that loosens a little with wearing but still tight enough to stay on and keep my hair kinda under control while driving my Jeep topless. Goes with all my hippie clothes, especially my dashikis.

"I have to agree. although it did fit me, it's a strange product. being a skullcap and not a hat a tight fit can be expected, but i cant find a way that looks good to wear it. Though it is nice quality, maybe it's just not for me."

"I would absolutely love this hat..... if it were even close to fitting around my apparently voluptuous noggin. It is far to small/short, and even after stretching, does not look quite right."
