Our bud Burnell at Raven’s Wing Studio recently stayed in Woodstock NY and experienced everything from tie-dye, new age shops and bookstores, organic produce, hip restaurants, and a weekend flea market to a guitar expedition and a community drum circle. This is a trip any hippie would appreciate!

Here is an excerpt from his post.

Needless to say, being an old hippie and all, I enjoy the vibe in Woodstock, NY. And please ignore the “Don’t Feed The Hippies” sign. Or, better yet, let’s meet for brunch at Oriole 9 on Tinker Street. You never know, you might run into Deva Premal & Miten, as Betsy and I did during our last visit.

Read more here and hear why Woodstock NY continues to thrive with hippie counter-culture and good ol’ hippie vibes. Thanks for the mention Burnell!

I lost my youngest daughter in 2013 from a successful suicide. It completely broke me mentally, spiritually, and shattered my soul. Woodstock is something that my daughter Ashlie and I shared because she was a little hippie girl and I don’t her everything that I knew about the greatest Music Festival ever help. We joked that we were one day going there just the two of us. I never got that chance but in the after-life where time and is irrelevant and not like we tell time on Earth at this time . So when I leave Earth Ashlie and I are hooking up and we headed to Woodstock. Go topless Dance in the rain and listen to some of best music ever created. So Woodstock or bust! I would really like to attach a photo but I don’t know how I would be able to do that. It is ok ☮️
