I've been with Soul Flower for a decade or more and started buying these leggings when they initially debuted. The foundation of the design is good" but to make these exceptional, they need a tapered high waisted option for those of us who have curves! \n\nI typically wear a size 6-8, and a S-M in leggings, depending on brand. Usually a small in stretch organic textiles. Medium in less stretchy technical gear like Patagonia. I am the average 5'4", and 135-150, depending on the season (I intentionally gain for wintering comfortably in a very cold climate). In these, I would need an XS for them to *maybe* stay up. The waistband is too narrow, depth-wise unless you are in your 20's, or have narrow hips and a straight figure. Yet there's so much stretch to these that folks below a size 6 would not fit them. Even on a 6, the small ends up needing to be pulled up and readjusted frequently. This gets real annoying throughout the day! Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the substantial organic cotton textile, but it's the waistband!! Take an inch or 2" off the width on the pattern of the waistband, because with stretch and no elastic, you need it more form fitting and tailored on the band (elastic free waist is a huge part of why I love these!)".and add 4-6" to its depth, tapering to the high waist, instead of below the belly button, and these will be the perfect leggings, worthy of a 5-star review from an old loyal customer in the 49's age group. Keep the price right and I will stock my closet with a redesign! Having multiple waistband options to cater to different body types and preferences would be ideal! I also really like the fold over yoga style band on leggings" keeps everything tucked in and supported on momma bellies, and great for pregnancy :)\n\nAnd bring in a lot more colors! What happened to that lovely dusty pink?? Black is always a great staple, but it seems like lately all I see on Soul Flower is black, red/burgundy, navy, yellow, grey and a fairly unappealing salmon orange/pink. We want earth tones in brown, purple, teal, magenta, rust, forest green, pink".. As a general side note: Please consider your older customers! We've been with you for a decade or more and we want more refined, dignified screen print options. Frankly, a lot of it is just way too cheesy and cliche' for us middle aged people with the dollars to spend. I like the nature and plants, without the words. The ferns, the wolf, the peacock feather (I'd buy that if it were on a full length pair and re-do the waistband myself)" but all the cliche' sayings are just tacky. It reminds me of the cheap seasonal box store stuff. I've thought about leaving a review for a while now, and decided it was worth my time in hopes that decision makers hear it. I'd like to keep supporting Soul Flower. (It's nice to have a sustainable option for basics that is unique and not hellaciously over-priced). But, I looked through everything and I just can't find anything that will work for me even during the sale. Half my closet used to be Soul Flower.
