Hello, buds! I recently had my first baby, and getting outdoors for a good hike or walk has been a little...challenging. Babies are the best—truly the best!—but bringing one along means carrying a lot of extra gear every time you step outside.
That’s where my fair trade Dandelion Wine Backpack really came in handy. I had a front carrier so baby Willow could enjoy the summer scenery, but it had nowhere to store all the essentials we needed.
A water bottle, keys, and a phone were only the beginning. I also needed diapers, wipes, a changing pad, a burp cloth, a blanket, a bottle, a pacifier, a first aid kit, and a change of clothes—just in case of an explosion of the baby variety. 😉
A purse or traditional diaper bag just wasn’t practical for hiking. Trying to keep one balanced on my shoulder became a serious pain in the rumpus! A backpack was much more comfortable and much more hiker-friendly.
The adjustable straps, soft fabric, and roomy pockets made it easy to organize everything. It had three zippered pockets on the front in different sizes and two pockets inside, including one that was just right for a cell phone. It was practical, comfortable, and perfect for getting outside with Willow.
Happy trails,
Woo
