Soul Flower has women's and children's sizing options, but don't forget about the in-between sizes! Most XS or Small women's tops work wonderfully for pre-teens, too.

The Imagine Ebb and Flow Top in an XS worked great for Marli with plenty of room to grow. (I'd equate it to about a children's size 10/12 Large, while still fitting many 14/16 sizes as well.) The extra length made it perfect to pair with leggings or a favorite pair of skinny jeans.

Casual but certainly not plain, this super-soft organic cotton top was comfortable and breathable. And there's something about a curved hemline that makes a garment so fun to wear! As we wandered the neighborhood looking for interesting locations, I kept catching Marli twirling or jumping around just to watch the shirt sway and flow. She said it made the shirt feel more "fancy." 🙂 Fancy indeed! More than just a t-shirt, the Imagine Ebb and Flow Top can easily be dressed up for both adults and younger girls. Pair it with cute shorts? Absolutely. Capris? Yes! One of Soul Flower's flowing hippie skirts? Perfect. It's also so much fun to accessorize!

Clothing has become such an important part of children's lives. Image is everywhere and constantly surrounds them. As a parent, I always wondered if there would come a day when I'd have to argue over clothing choices, explain that labels and designer brands don't matter, or say no to expensive trends. So far, so good. 🙂 Instead, Marli loves thrifting with me and proudly wears secondhand and vintage clothing. She understands that clothing doesn't define who she is, but enjoys letting her wardrobe reflect her personality.

The Imagine Ebb and Flow Top caught her eye immediately. The dragonfly artwork is beautiful—detailed yet simple—and pairs perfectly with the hand-lettered design. Few shirts made for her age group share such a positive message. "Spoiled Brat?" "Troublemaker?" "Diva?" No thanks. Those don't represent a growing young mind. "Imagine?" Yes, please!
