This time last year... I was bundling up one little girl. This year I have to find two hats, two matching pairs of gloves, two jackets, two pairs of boots, and bundle up two little girls!

This time last year I had long platinum blonde hair. Now I have short strawberry blonde hair...it's still just as straight as ever.

This time last year I didn't know how to draft a pattern or sew a hat. Now my desk is covered with panda, dinosaur, and kitty hats, and my closet has a few dresses that I made completely from scratch.

This time last year I was antisocial. Now I'm...somewhat social. I'm getting there.

It's amazing what a year can bring—changes, losses, victories, and stories. One stepping stone always leads to the next. Progress isn't always obvious in the moment, but it's there. Look back over the last year. What have you accomplished? What have you learned? What have you created? What have you lost? Remember that every stepping stone is part of the journey that leads you exactly where you're meant to go.
