On Monday, August 21, 2017 all of North America will experience a solar eclipse. A solar eclipse is when the moon lines up just right between the earth and the sun and blocks the sun, creating a temporary shadow on the surface of the earth. There are only 2 total solar eclipses every 3 years that happen somewhere around the globe. The last time the States saw a total eclipse was 38 years ago in 1979!
Meet Marthe Mekuria, she’s a Los Angeles based Singer Songwriter and all around creative person from Amsterdam, Holland. Marthe creates abstract mixed medium art on canvas as well as water resistant art designs on clothing.

Our bud Leah over at StyleWise Blog recently did a little review for us on our newest flowy pants and ruched skirt. Our latest Flow Collection features these flowy hippie pants and ruched skirt as well as a drapey cardigan. These are fairly made organic pieces are comfortable, super soft and feature hand-drawn artwork. They are perfect for layering, mixing and matching. Our bud Burnell at Raven’s Wing Studio recently stayed in Woodstock NY and experienced everything from tie-dye, new age shops and bookstores, organic produce, hip restaurants, and a weekend flea market to a guitar expedition and a community drum circle. This is a trip any hippie would appreciate!

International Yoga day is June 21st – a day dedicated to raising awareness about the benefits of practicing yoga world wide. For many of us, every day is yoga day! We have integrated philosophies and concepts from our yoga practices into our everyday lives. So for international yoga day, we like the idea of sharing a bit about how we practice YOGA EVERY DAY – and most of our practice doesn’t involve a yoga mat.
The best advise we can give you on how to dress like a hippie is really quite simple: always wear a big smile, carry a kind heart, and simply be yourself. p.s. shoes are optional. Read on to see more ideas on dressing like a hippie 🙂
