In mid-August I found myself in Laramie, Wyoming. More specifically, I found myself wandering around Vedauwoo (Vee-da-voo) Recreational Area. The path that brought me to Vedauwoo was winding and convoluted, not unlike the narrow paths that lead to the top of the Vedauwoo rock formations.   (more…)

It was a beautiful evening on the river. The sun was beginning its colorful descent, birds were soaring above, and stillness infused the space around us. “Look over there,” he said. We noticed two dragonflies dancing above the water, twirling so freely. We sat in silence for a few moments, just taking in their presence. (more…)

Bonnaroo is not simply a home away from home. For me, Bonnaroo is home. I feel more content and comforted on the farm than anywhere else.  A 700 acre farm with over 80,000 people expressing and reveling in their love for freedom, peace, happiness, and music is hard to top. (more…)
